YOUTH RED CROSS

The College is enrolled as a Youth Red Cross Group with the Indian Red Cross Society, Orissa. Annual Subscription of Rs. Rs. 10/-  is collected from each student towards the Youth Red Cross Fund.
1.         AIMS:
            (a)       Service to Sick and Suffering.
            (b)       Promotion of Health.
            (c)        International Friendliness.
2.         MEMBERSHIP:
Students who have the spirit of service to the sick and suffering and who want to become active members of Youth Red Cross have to apply and get enrolled.
3.         ACTIVITIES:
Special emphasis in given to the followings:
            (a)       Service to the Sick and Suffering.
(b)       Practice of the personal health habits.
(c)        College hygiene - Cleanliness of class room, grounds and up keep of College garden.
(d)       Community hygiene taking of works and cleanliness in the nearby villages.
(e)       Arrangement of Mega Blood donation camps with the help of Blood Bank.
(f)        To attend and arrange National/State level programme.
(g)       Youth Red Cross activities are moderated by executive committee consisting of a minimum of 5 and maximum of 11 members. The committee comprises of a chairman, a vice-Chairman a Secretary and Joint Secretary from the members. It will be for one year.
(h)       The YRC counselor is appointed by the Principal from among the staff members who will be entitled to attend meetings of the executive committee and guide the deliberation.
(i)         The meeting of the Committee should be held at least once in a month to frame relative rules of business.
